Website Mission
Contact: Wesley Hutcherson, Beau Johnson, Samuel Haskell, Email group officers
Mission Overview: We are the LSU branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), an organization dedicated to the research and development of aerospace technology and careers.  While AIAA is a professional society with the resources to help foster and expand careers in aerospace, our membership is not limited to people with technical experience in aerospace. Whether you are a seasoned professional in the field, a student with an aerospace minor, or just interested in the art of falling and missing the ground on the way down, our organization has something for you. Activities: AIAA offers club rocket competitions to gear up towards larger, national-level, rocket competitions as well as smaller-scale activities. Our organization also organizes multiple trips per semester to sites important to the aerospace industry, such as the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the Naval Aviation Museum, and local airshows.  We also have presentations shown by professionals in the aerospace community to our organization in order to expand attendees' knowledge and provide networking opportunities. If you are interested in learning more about us and staying up to date on our activities and plans, click the blue join button here on Tigerlink.  This will add you to our update email list.
