About Us
Chi Omega is the largest women's fraternity nationwide with 181 chapters and more than 375,000 initiates. The Phi Gamma chapter at LSU has prided itself in upholding Chi Omega's six purposes which are: friendship, personal integrity, service to others, academic excellence and intellectual pursuits, community and campus involvement, and career and personal development. Chi Omega women are actively involved in the community, volunteering at Friends of the Animals, Habitat for Humanity, and several other local organizations. Every year, Chi Omega hosts its philanthropy event, Swishes for Wishes, to support its national philanthropy, the Make-A-Wish Foundation. As a diverse group of women, Chi Omegas are involved in many campus activities such as athletics, dance teams, Greek leadership organizations, student government, spiritual organizations, and more!
