Mission
LSU badminton seeks to promote participation and advancement in the sport of badminton. We aim to provide guidance for all enthusiasts and create an inclusive community of fun and competition for everyone.

Practices every Monday and Thursday at the UREC indoor West Court 3 from 7:00-9:00 PM CT.

Membership Benefits
With the 25-30 dollar club fee paid semesterly, we will guarantee an exclusive yearly t-shirt release. Members will have reserved club practice time so they can have exclusive training times without distractions. Members will be able to receive specialized training from club coaches as well as play against other club members of similar skill level.

The Water Polo Club at LSU is open to all students currently enrolled at LSU. ┬áWe do not hold tryouts, and we welcome anyone with interest to try the sport. For those that are unfamiliar with the sport, it's not difficult to pick up because it relates a lot to soccer and basketball. ┬áIf you have swimming experience it can benefit you so that you can keep up with the fast-paced nature of the game.┬á

We frequently compete in New Orleans against Tulane. ┬áFor league play, we are enrolled in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) and we play in the Texas division so most of our tournaments are in Texas. ┬á ┬á
In the spring we compete in offseason tournaments that are held in different states.┬á

Mission
We play different universities across the south in both fall and spring semesters. The fall season is considered our "in-season" because we compete in the TCSL soccer league in September and October. The Regional Tournament, for teams that qualify, is in late October/early November. We travel once or twice, usually to Texas, for games and invite other college club teams to come play in Baton Rouge. We play our games on the weekends and practice 2-3 times a week. The only requirement to play club soccer is to be a full time or part time LSU student and be of good academic standing. Tryouts are usually the first or second week of school for both fall and spring semesters.

The Women's Rugby Team at LSU is open to any female students who want to play. Previous experience is not needed, we can teach you what you need to know. There is no specific fitness level requirement. All you need is a good attitude and to be eager to learn.

Rugby is a fast paced game with few stoppages and continuous ball possession changes. The object of the game is that two teams of fifteen players each should score as many points as possible during two 40-minute halves, by carrying, passing, kicking and grounding the ball. All players must also be able to tackle and defend, making each position both offensive and defensive in nature. Rugby is a full contact sport and considered to be a mix between football and soccer. Unlike football, however, there is no blocking. Whether you're fast or slow, short or tall there is a place for you in rugby!
