What is GAUS?
The Geography and Anthropology Undergraduate Society is a student organization dedicated to:
- The spread of anthropological and geographical information to everybody: majors, minors, and overall any interested people!
- Furthering professional interest in geography and anthropology by affording a common organization for those interested in this field.
- Strengthening student and professional training through academic experiences other than those of the classroom and laboratory.
- Advancing the status of geography and anthropology as disciplines for study and investigation.
- Encouraging student research of high quality and promote an outlet for publication.
- Encourageing members to apply geographic and anthropological knowledge and skills in service to humankind.
