Acacia is unique among men's college fraternities. With a Greek word for our name instead of the typical two to three Greek letters found in other organizations, Acacia offers a membership experience similarly that is unique.

Acacia Fraternity was re-founded in the Fall of 2018. Since originally chartering at Louisiana State University in 1956, over 1,700 men have joined their ranks in pursuit of Virtue, Knowledge, & Truth. Our mission is to increase the interest on concrete and reinforced concrete among LSU undergraduate and graduate students. An ACI student chapter will mainly organize events, schedule seminars, trips to construction sites and construction companies. This will lead act as a bridge between students and professionals working in the field. It will allow students to become familiarized with the real life application of educations.
Finally, there are bi-annual ACI conventions held nationally. Our goal is to attend those conventions as a student chapter and compete in the competitions held by ACI.

The LSU Advertising Federation (AdFed) is a student organization on LSU's campus modeled after the professional American Advertising Federation (AAF). Like the AAF, our primary mission is "to protect and promote the well-being of advertising."

LSU AdFed accomplishes this by providing guest speakers, conferences, and agency tours to help students gain a better understanding of the industry, as well as to develop ideas for creative advertising solutions and trends. The African Graduate Student Association (AGSA) at Louisiana State University is uniquely positioned to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Africa’s diverse cultures. Our objectives include the following:

Its founding took place on May 15, 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia – the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women. Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) at Louisiana State University is a pre-professional health honor society dedicated to pre-medical students. AED seeks to guide and support pre-medical students on their journey to becoming medical professionals. In addition to providing students with the keys to success during both undergraduate and professional schooling, we offer many volunteer opportunities to serve those most vulnerable in our Baton Rouge community.

AED holds meetings every two weeks, where we expose students to different aspects of the medical field. At each meeting, guest speakers join us from across the state to share why they pursued medicine and share advice on how to be a successful medical professional. These speakers include medical students, residents, and physicians of numerous specialties, including orthopedic surgery, gastroenterology, psychiatry, cardiology, pediatrics, dermatology, infectious diseases, and more. Moreover, our members can meet and network with the Deans from LSU New Orleans and LSU Shreveport medical schools at our Dean's Convocation. The deans detail their respective schools and what they look for in applicants, followed by a question and answer session. We also host a Mock Interview with one of the Deans to provide our students with a glimpse into what the medical school interview is like. Additionally, we host a meeting with LSU's Pre-Medical Review Committee, a very important resource for those students looking to apply to medical school. While we strive to expose our members to many aspects of the medical field, we also emphasize the importance of service within our organization; we equip our members with plenty of service opportunities at local hospitals, nursing homes, cancer services centers, youth organizations, public schools, and many more!
