Good morning tigers,
As I’m sure you all know, Hurricane Florence is heading our way. Minutes ago, we received an email from LSU that campus will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday. Tonight’s practice is still on.
That being said, we will not be hosting any official club business, practice included, while the university is closed.
Core UFC Gym Sherwood still plans on being open from 1pm on on Thursday. That being said, as of right now they will still be holding their wrestling class. If you would like to attend, you may, however, note that it is not an official LSU Wrestling practice. Stay tuned to their Instagram page for updates on their operating hours in case they change. Your life is far more important than missing one practice, so we urge you to stay home and shelter in place.
Spend today making sure you have anything you need. Proper preparation prevents poor performance. Make sure you have a few gallons of water, dry and canned foods, flashlights, batteries, candles, a portable charger, and a tank of gas.
We will be in communication about operations as things develop, but note that we will be following university guidelines very closely. Reach out to me or David with any questions. Stay safe and Geaux Tigers.
