The mission of The Long Purple Line at LSU is to preserve and protect the military history of LSU. This organization provides an avenue for students to be part of a community at LSU that believes that the best way to build a brighter future is by knowing the past through helping promote LSU's long and cherished military history.
- Community: Members can be part of a community at LSU that is interested in military history and preserving LSU's military heritage. This allows students to connect with others who share this interest. - Leadership Opportunities: Members can take on leadership roles by serving as officers on the Executive Board.
