Mission The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc., (NABA) was founded in 1969 by nine African-American professionals in the New York area who were concerned with the limited participation of minorities in the accounting profession, particularly the number of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs). The LSU Chapter of NABA was officially chartered in June of 2011 during the National Convention in Orlando, FL. NABA offers their members many benefits that include: personal and professional development, internships, scholarships, leadership, networking, social events, mentorship, etc.
