Mission
The Fighting Game Community at LSU operates for the expressed purpose of fostering a diverse and inclusive community of students who share a common love of fighting games and the culture that surrounds them. The exact purpose that the organization serves will vary from member to member; some members may seek to improve their technical ability in fighting games, or some may simply use the organization as an outlet for social interaction. Regardless of the intent behind their joining, all members must subscribe to the code of conduct and must uphold the principles of open-mindedness and good sportsmanship.

Membership Benefits
A. Only members will be able to vote and participate in the official decision-making processes of the organization such as I in the amending of the constitution, the election of organization officers, the selection of games for monthly tournaments, etc.
B. Only members may run for or be appointed to office in any of the official officer positions.
C. In the event that raffles or giveaways are held, members of the organization will have a higher likelihood of being selected as the winner.
D. Members will have free entry to all tournaments that are held during the semester of their membership.
