About Us

Acacia is unique among men's college fraternities. With a Greek word for our name instead of the typical two to three Greek letters found in other organizations, Acacia offers a membership experience similarly that is unique. Acacia Fraternity was re-founded in the Fall of 2018. Since originally chartering at Louisiana State University in 1956, over 1,700 men have joined their ranks in pursuit of Virtue, Knowledge, & Truth. Built upon these principles – members serve their communities, pursue academic and professional success, and enjoy lifelong Acacia brotherhood. After coming back strong with 53 members in one year, members who join Acacia Fraternity have an opportunity to continue building on a foundation Acacia Fraternity at LSU.
