Mission
The purpose of this organization is to promote further education and opportunities in the field of aquatic veterinary medicine and aquatic animal health.

1. To promote a better understanding and greater interest in aquatic veterinary medicine by providing a forum for discussion and exchange of information on matters of common interest as applied to aquatic animal health.
2. To encourage students interested in aquatic veterinary medicine, veterinary medicine, marine biology, zoology, fisheries science, and related fields to get involved in educational opportunities related to the welfare of aquatic species, including proper examination, diagnosis, and treatment for aquatic diseases.
3. To facilitate seminars, wet labs, and other relevant activities aligned with global aquatic veterinary medicine.
4. To promote collaboration and communication between LSU students, faculty, and aquatic veterinary medicine professionals.
