The primary purpose of this organization shall be to promote interaction between students and company representatives from the professional world, to be accomplished primarily by means of inviting speakers from a variety of companies to present about available mechanical engineering opportunities.
LSU ASME is open to all students regardless of major, but is primarily geared toward those who are enrolled in mechanical engineering. Membership will be tallied at the beginning of each semester, and becoming a member will require completion of an informational form to be turned in to the LSU ASME secretary with payment of dues.
