About Us

As the Louisiana State University chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), we are committed to fulfilling NSBE's core mission: to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact their communities.

We do this by creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students of all identities. Our chapter provides opportunities for academic excellence, professional development, and personal growth. Through workshops, community outreach, and various initiatives, we empower our members to thrive as future leaders in engineering and beyond.
