About Us

The purpose of NSSLHA is to encourage professional interest among students in the study of normal and disordered human communication, to assist university departments and local organizations interested in speech – hearing – language behaviors and disorders, to provide professional information about graduate schools, doctoral programs and career plans, to provide a vehicle for student representation in matters of professional concern, and to develop leadership skills for students.  Why join NSSLHA? ● Become involved with others who have the same interests ● Allows the opportunity to meet friends and faculty who provide information and support ● Exposure to professional speakers in the fields of audiology and speech-language pathology ● Provides information on graduate schools and their application processes
