About Us
RHA represents all students living on campus and works as a governing body in collaboration with the Department of Residential Life by reviewing and recommending changes in regulations, policies, and physical facilities pertinent and beneficial to students living on campus. As the second largest student organization at LSU, RHA has a place for everyone. Each residence hall and apartment community have a Community Council – composed of student officers elected by on-campus residents- that represents each hall during RHA general assembly meetings, plans social and educational programs for its community, and works with the community's professional staff to improve the quality of life for residents. RHA also organizes and sponsors educational, social, and leadership activities of benefit and interest to on-campus residents, like its annual crawfish boil, move-in block party, Homecoming week's Splatterbeat, and more. Get involved early on campus and serve on your hall's Community Council to open a world of leadership opportunities.
