Take 8 Film Festival

The Annual Take Film Festival is a celebration of undergraduate/graduate students and alumni from LSU, and students from universities all over Louisiana! Three guest judges from various parts of the film industry judge student/alumni short films for the most anticipated night of every film student at LSU. For the past eight years, we have worked diligently to ensure that the Take Film Festival reaches new heights year after year. Unfortunately, we had to go online for the past two Take Festivals due to COVID-19. However, this year's festival is going to be bigger and better than it ever has been with the intention on growing! You won't want to miss out on this incredible event!

Want to submit? The only eligibility requirement for submission is that you are or were a student from any Louisiana university and have completed the film submitted in 2021 or 2022 that is between 30 seconds and 15 minutes in length. Email isaacp@lsu.edu or mmcdo57@lsu.edu for more information!
