About Us

The Society of Peer Mentors consists of three main components: robotics mentoring, a freshmen bridge camp and K-12 outreach. ROBOTICS MENTORS Robotics Peer Mentors provide outreach to K-12 in the Baton Rouge area helping robotics teams, hosting robotic events, and inspiring students to pursue STEM fields. Engineering Freshmen Bridge Camp This camp eases the transition between high school and college by providing mentors to incoming freshmen students during a week long engineering focused environment. OUTREACH Outreach provides an opportunity for local K-12 students to experience engineering through STEM nights, high school outreach days, and more.
