Subject: AGSA Website Launch & "Student to Student Wisdom" Contribution Request

Hi First_Name,

AGSA Website Launch & Student to Student Wisdom

I hope this email finds you well as we kick off the new academic year.

I'm excited to announce the official launch of our new AGSA website at https://lsuafricangrads.org/ during our Fall 2025 New Students Orientation this Saturday, August 23rd from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at LSU Student Union (Atchafalaya—339).

We've also launched a "Student Wisdom" section where returning students can share encouragement and practical advice with incoming graduate students. These messages will serve as ice breaker content during orientation and remain permanently online.

⏰ IMPORTANT: The submission link closes before orientation starts. Please fill out the form ASAP! Three sample messages are available online.

Share your voice:

  • Tips that helped you succeed
  • Encouragement you wish you'd received
  • Advice about research, academics, or campus life
  • Short messages (under 100 words)

Why it matters: New students trust peer advice more than any handbook, and your words will help break the ice at orientation.

Your messages will be featured during orientation (see attached program details) and help us build a stronger AGSA community.

Help us grow: Share the website and encourage others to contribute their wisdom!

Best regards,
Monsuru Olatunji Dauda, NMIS
AGSA President.
On Behalf of AGSA.
