About Us

The mission of the Graduate Student Writing Collective (GSWC) at LSU is to foster a supportive and collaborative community that empowers graduate students to become confident writers who can effectively communicate their research, ideas, and insights. We aim to create an inclusive space where graduate students from diverse disciplines can come together to work productively in a setting that provides accountability. We seek to inspire and motivate our members to develop effective writing habits, overcome challenges, and produce high-quality, publishable academic work. We also strive to build a strong network of graduate students who support and uplift each other.
