About Us

Global Water Brigades of LSU is an organization that strives to improve the economic and health status of developing countires by working along side volunteers, engineers, and members of the community to build sustainable water purification systems. Global Water Brigades of LSU is a student organization that travels annually to a developing community to work alongside professionals and community members to provide sustainable water purification systems. As a chapter of Global Brigades, the organization is also affiliated with local philanthropies in order to align with the motto, "think locally, act globally". Throughout the year, members of the organization will engage in fundraising activities to contribute to their personal experience and the international non-profit's philanthropy.
