About Us

The purpose of this organization shall be to promote service at LSU community at large, to provide for professional development of our membership, and to offer a social outlet to all those interested in Hands that Hear. Our organization's purpose is to mutually assist and encourage Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing individual interactions. Hands that Hear strives to promote the strength and usefulness of our members, as well as promote outreach and to develop a sense of community between both Deaf and hearing cultures.
