About Us

Moot Court’s purpose is to promote education about and interest in the profession of law, legal policy, the United States Constitution, and the American Judiciary among undergraduate students at Louisiana State University. Moot Court strives to create practical opportunities for students to engage with case law, hone legal reasoning and the application of law to facts, develop and communicate their own legal arguments before a panel of judges, answer questions about the arguments they present, and demonstrate appropriate courtroom demeanor and forensic skill.
