About Us

SLSA is an open group with motivated students at LSU to build a strong cohesive network with friends and peers that can provide an environment where people of similar backgrounds can come together and look out for the well-being of each other. LSU community is cordially welcome to SLSA. We would be really happy to help incoming Sri Lankan students to find temporary/permanent accommodations and provide transportation upon arrival/departure to/from Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport. SLSA is functioning as a representative body for Sri Lankan students at LSU and we would also like to share information about LSU with prospective students. We will organize various Sri Lankan cultural activities to strengthen the bond between SLSA and LSU community.
