The Saxophone Society at LSU is dedicated to fostering a community of saxophonists, educators, and professionals. Our mission is to provide members with enriching opportunities that enhance their musical skills, promote creativity, and build lasting connections. We strive to cultivate a supportive environment where students can engage with experienced musicians, participate in workshops and masterclasses, and showcase their talents. We aim to inspire professional and personal growth and a lifelong passion for music-making as well as the saxophone. We also maintain a strong focus on fundraising for the organization’s events and the costs that come with them. As a student organization, we strive to provide a supportive space where saxophonists of all skill levels can hone their technical abilities, explore types of music and diverse genres, build lasting personal and professional, enrich the campus community, and cultivate a deeper understanding and enjoyment of the saxophone.
