  • The Mission

Our mission is to create a space where students can develop a clear understanding of how money works. Through education, conversation, and exposure, we aim to equip individuals with the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions. Black Wall Street at LSU exists to make financial literacy, investing, and economic awareness accessible to all students, regardless of background or experience.

  • Our Pillars

Black Wall Street at LSU is grounded in four core pillars: literacy, discipline, intelligence, and economics. Literacy focuses on developing a clear understanding of how money works, equipping members with the knowledge to navigate financial decisions with confidence. Discipline emphasizes the importance of consistency, accountability, and intentional habits that support long-term financial growth. Intelligence centers on critical thinking, encouraging members to analyze markets, interpret financial information, and approach opportunities with strategy. Economics expands this understanding by connecting individual financial decisions to broader systems, including policy, markets, and global economic forces.

  • Who We Serve?

Black Wall Street at LSU serves students from all majors and backgrounds who are seeking a deeper understanding of money, markets, and economic systems. Whether a student is just beginning their financial journey or already has experience in investing, this organization provides a space for growth, learning, and exposure. While rooted at LSU, our mission extends beyond campus, welcoming students from the greater Baton Rouge area, including Southern University and Baton Rouge Community College, as we work to share knowledge and build collective financial awareness.
