About Us

DFSGSA's purpose is to foster a social and academic support group for graduate students in the Department of French Studies and other connected graduate programs at LSU. Through social activities, writing workshops, and other programs we hope to increase graduate students' senses of community. Given the international and multi-state backgrounds among DFS graduate students and graduates students in other related departments, such as Comparative Literature, History, and Women and Gender Studies, the DFSGSA will provide an unrivaled communal organization to students.
