About Us

We, the Geology Club of the Department of Geology and Geophysics at LSU, strive to educate the LSU community and surrounding areas about the importance of Geosciences. GC is the official graduate and undergraduate council of the LSU Department of Geology and Geophysics and serves as a voice of undergraduate geosciences students in affairs outside LSU, including but not limited to industry, governance, and the university as a whole. GC seeks to provide a forum to build community within LSU and facilitate student, faculty, alumni, and industry interaction.
