WISA Paint and Powder

WISA will be hosting a Paint & Powder. This will be a cultural celebration where members paint themselves and throw powder on each other while dancing and singing along to traditional Caribbean music. This event will be similar to a "J'ouvert", which is a traditional festival known as "break day" or the unofficial start of Carnival, which takes place on the Monday before Ash Wednesday where partygoers gather on the streets of Port-of-Spain with their bodies covered in mud, oil coca and many other forms of body paint to party on the streets.
