Our beginnings
The LSU Triathlon team was established in 2006 and rapidly grew. It became an official LSU Club Sport in 2014 and grew to over 20 members. The club took a hit during COVID, but started being revamped in the Fall of 2022.
Our Competition
LSU Triathlon is part of USA Triathlon's South Midwest Collegiate Conference. This included universities from Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Most competitions are held against teams in this conference. However, every year we have the opportunity to attend the Collegiate Nationals hosted by USA Triathlon.
Our Mission
The club has a mission to provide an opportunity for LSU students to compete in triathlons at the collegiate level against teams from across the nation while allowing members to improve their athletic ability, leadership, and character.
