Mission
The LSU Advertising Federation (AdFed) is a student organization on LSU's campus modeled after the professional American Advertising Federation (AAF). Like the AAF, our primary mission is "to protect and promote the well-being of advertising."

LSU AdFed accomplishes this by providing guest speakers, conferences, and agency tours to help students gain a better understanding of the industry, as well as to develop ideas for creative advertising solutions and trends. These activities also offer valuable networking and career opportunities, in addition to advances in education regarding cutting-edge advertising practices.

As a member of LSU AdFed, you will connect with local professionals from the Baton Rouge chapter of the AAF (American Advertising Federation of Baton Rouge) and with alumni across the nation, ensuring you never have to worry about finding advertising jobs, internships, scholarships, and more.

Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) at Louisiana State University is a pre-professional health honor society dedicated to pre-medical students. AED seeks to guide and support pre-medical students on their journey to becoming medical professionals. In addition to providing students with the keys to success during both undergraduate and professional schooling, we offer many volunteer opportunities to serve those most vulnerable in our Baton Rouge community.

AED holds meetings every two weeks, where we expose students to different aspects of the medical field. At each meeting, guest speakers join us from across the state to share why they pursued medicine and share advice on how to be a successful medical professional. These speakers include medical students, residents, and physicians of numerous specialties, including orthopedic surgery, gastroenterology, psychiatry, cardiology, pediatrics, dermatology, infectious diseases, and more. Moreover, our members can meet and network with the Deans from LSU New Orleans and LSU Shreveport medical schools at our Dean's Convocation. The deans detail their respective schools and what they look for in applicants, followed by a question and answer session. We also host a Mock Interview with one of the Deans to provide our students with a glimpse into what the medical school interview is like. Additionally, we host a meeting with LSU's Pre-Medical Review Committee, a very important resource for those students looking to apply to medical school. While we strive to expose our members to many aspects of the medical field, we also emphasize the importance of service within our organization; we equip our members with plenty of service opportunities at local hospitals, nursing homes, cancer services centers, youth organizations, public schools, and many more!

Overview: We are the LSU branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), an organization dedicated to the research and development of aerospace technology and careers.  While AIAA is a professional society with the resources to help foster and expand careers in aerospace, our membership is not limited to people with technical experience in aerospace. Whether you are a seasoned professional in the field, a student with an aerospace minor, or just interested in the art of falling and missing the ground on the way down, our organization has something for you.
 
Activities: AIAA offers club rocket competitions to gear up towards larger, national-level, rocket competitions as well as smaller-scale activities. Our organization also organizes multiple trips per semester to sites important to the aerospace industry, such as the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the Naval Aviation Museum, and local airshows.  We also have presentations shown by professionals in the aerospace community to our organization in order to expand attendees' knowledge and provide networking opportunities.

Beta Beta Beta (Tri Beta) is a society for graduate and undergraduate students dedicated to improving the appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.  Founded in 1922 at Oklahoma City University, there are now more than 670 active TriBeta chapters at universities throughout the United States.
Louisiana State University's Tri Beta chapter, Eta Alpha, was originally founded in 1988 with the goal to connect high-achieving students with an interest in the biological sciences with opportunities for undergraduate research positions.  After a brief hiatus following Hurricane Gustav, the chapter was re-instated in 2014 with the mission to reunite the students and professors in the biology department.  We welcome any students with interests in research, fellowship, and/or developing connections for future endeavors within this indispensible field.
