President

  • provides leadership and direction for all chapter activities and initiatives
  • presides over all general body and executive board meetings
  • develops meeting agendas in collaboration with other officers
  • serves as the primary point of contact for the chapter
  • ensures that all chapter activities comply with university regulations and the chapter's constitution
  • identifies and implements activities and programs that will actively engage current members and facilitate the recruitment of new members
  • represents the chapter in university-wide events and collaborations

Vice President

  • assumes the responsibilities of the president in their absence or inability to serve
  • oversees and coordinates the activities of any committees established by the chapter
  • plays a key role in member recruitment and retention efforts
  • assists the president in brainstorming and developing meaningful chapter activities that support the professional growth of members
  • works to establish and maintain connections with other relevant student organizations and departments within the university
  • supervises and coordinates specific projects or events as assigned by the president

Secretary

  • records accurate minutes of all general body and executive board meetings
  • maintains an accurate and up-to-date list of chapter members and their contact information in collaboration with the president
  • establishes and maintains organized chapter files, including attendance records, activity reports, and official documents
  • records all votes taken by the chapter executive board and general membership
  • develops and implements strategies for recruiting new members to the chapter
  • welcomes new members and ensures their integration into the chapter
  • works collaboratively with other officers to enhance member experience and retention

Treasurer

  • manages all chapter funds and maintains accurate financial records, including income and expenses
  • develops and presents the chapter's budget to the executive board and general membership
  • tracks budget expenditures and ensures financial accountability
  • assesses and reports the financial implications of proposed chapter activities and other actions to the executive board
  • ensures that all financial transactions comply with university policies and procedures
  • collaborates with the president on fundraising initiatives and grant applications
  • provides regular financial reports to the membership

Communications Director

  • develops, writes, and distributes a regular chapter newsletter or other notifications to inform members of upcoming meetings, activities, and important announcements
  • manages the chapter's digital presence, including social media accounts, website (if applicable), and other online communication platforms
  • develops and disseminates promotional materials for chapter events and recruitment efforts
  • promotes the chapter's service activities to the university community
  • addresses member inquiries and concerns

Activities and Program Director

  • collaborates with other organizations on campus or in the community on advocacy initiatives
  • identifies and coordinates volunteer and community service opportunities related to education for chapter members
  • manages member participation in volunteer activities and maintains records of their involvement
  • builds relationships with local schools and community organizations to facilitate outreach initiatives
