Membership is open to all currently enrolled Louisiana State University undergraduate students who demonstrate an interest in education, regardless of their major or college affiliation.

The selection of members will be conducted without discrimination based on race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, personal appearance, disability, marital status, family responsibility, political affiliation, source of income, veteran status, or any other characteristics protected by applicable law and the policies of Louisiana State University.

The organization and its members agree to fully uphold and abide by all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Louisiana State University, as outlined in the Louisiana State University Code of Student Conduct and other relevant university documents.

Only active-level members in good standing shall have the right to vote on any matters brought before the chapter, including but not limited to constitutional amendments, election of officers, and other motions presented during meetings.

Only active-level members in good standing shall be eligible to hold an officer position within the chapter.

Only active-level members in good standing shall be eligible to participate in Educators Rising competitions, conferences, or other state or national level events as representatives of the Louisiana State University chapter of Educators Rising.

National student dues for active-level status with Educators Rising are determined by the national organization. This fee is currently $25 per student per academic year.

Local chapter dues for active-level status with Educators Rising are determined by a simple majority vote of the active membership. This fee is currently $25 per student per academic year.
